Our Community
The Red Deer Firefighters Children’s Charity is a non-profit organization based out of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.
Our foundation and volunteers come from the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 1190’s membership of Firefighter/Paramedics, Emergency Communications Officers, Fire Prevention Officers & Emergency Apparatus Technicians.
Through hosting our own fundraisers, to helping other non-profits that directly impact our community, we work to fill in the gaps that prevent children from having equal access to learn and play.
The Red Deer Firefighters Pipes & Drums is a dedicated group of Firefighters who honour tradition through music.
With the powerful sounds of bagpipes and drums, they represent the Brotherhood and heritage of the Fire Service at events, memorials, and ceremonies.
Their performances pay tribute to fallen Firefighters and celebrate the strength of the Firefighting community.
